Workshop: Developing a Comprehensive Education Technology Strategy for your Continuing Education Organization

I hope you will join Anne Grupe, Director of CME at the American Society of Clinical Oncology and Joseph Kim, MD, CEO of Medical Communications Media, and I as we conduct a workshop “Developing a Comprehensive Education Technology Strategy for your Continuing Education Organization.”  The intensive workshop will be held at the 38th Annual Conference of the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions on January 30-February 2, 2013 in San Francisco, California and is intended to arm attendees with the tools and the resources to develop a strategic education technology plan.  Though small working groups, demonstration, and discussion, we will address the following learning objectives:

  1. Evaluate appropriate options to improve activity planning and collaboration through the use of technology, exploring live, enduring and blended approaches.
  2. Create a value proposition for your organization, faculty and learners that supports the enhancement of the education program with technology solutions.
  3. Discuss strategies for encouraging adoption of education technology among planners, faculty and learners.
  4. Select appropriate evaluation measures to assess the impact of education technology on competence, performance and patient outcomes.

We are hopeful that you will join us for this exciting initiative and help advance continuing education in the health professions though innovations in technology.
